PRESIDENT

Liz Ferguson, Alpha Psi-Mississippi

I am excited about the successes of our chapter to rebuild and renew! NOAC will continue to reach out to more alumnae to encourage their participation through a variety of new events and ways to contribute, and I hope more members will take the leap of faith to get involved and support our efforts. Our collegiate chapters and local philanthropies need our support, so it is important for us to remember our Oath we took at Initiation and do what we can to Do Good!

VP: FINANCE AND PANHELLENIC DELEGATE

Angie Sweeney, Gamma Zeta-Louisiana State

I enjoy being an officer as it has allowed me to meet and get to know women of all ages. I enjoy serving Delta Gamma as she has given me a la community, support, opportunities, friendships and love. I am excited to also share my love for DG with my daughter who is now an alumna. I enjoy sharing my journey with her and others and truly believe we are showing that this is a life long membership.

VP: FOUNDATION AND FUNDRAISING

Kate Titford, Eta Eta-Spring Hill

As a collegian, I felt immediately bound to Delta Gamma. My sisters were sharp, fun, out to change the world. We formed bonds that have defied the transience of the 20 years since graduation, we grew as leaders, we gained skills and community that have changed our lives. The Delta Gamma New Orleans Alumnae Chapter is continuing the community and that same tradition of excellence. Whether at our social events or at book club, it is always a joy to spend time with these amazing women.

FOUNDATION CHAIR

Ellie Simon, Theta Alpha-Cal Poly

During my collegiate years I served as my chapter's VP Foundation. I thoroughly enjoyed this experience which allowed me to serve my community, and develop a deeper connection with Delta Gamma's values and the other members of my chapter. I knew I wanted to continue this work as an alumni and am grateful for this opportunity to work with more of the amazing women of DG and get involved with the New Orleans community!

VP: PROGRAMMING

Jeanne Cohen, Gamma Zeta-Louisiana State

VP: COMMUNICATIONS

Erin Hymel, Gamma Zeta-Louisiana State

I am eager to connect with my sisters and make new friends through serving as an alumnae chapter officer. It's a wonderful opportunity for me to use my creativity and design skills to welcome our members to connect in ways that interest them.

COMMUNICATIONS CHAIR

Kayla Sweeney, Gamma Zeta-Louisiana State

Being an officer for NOAC has shown me that DG really is for life. I loved being a director during my collegiate years, so it only feels right to serve NOAC in the same way! I find joy in giving back to the organization that has helped shape me into the woman I am today!

VP: MEMBERSHIP

To Be Filled

COLLUMNAE CHAIR

Melissa Aucoin, Epsilon Phi-Loyola

Delta Gamma played such a special part in my collegiate career. I feel that without it I would not be the person I am today. I am excited to work with the collegians from my Epsilon Phi chapter. I want to give back to something that gave me so much. This is why I am volunteering with NOAC.

COLLUMNAE CHAIR

Kaitlyn Trahan, Delta Pi-Southern Mississippi

One of my favorite aspects of Delta Gamma is that it is an endless cycle of women as collegians and alumnae. This position helps to meld those stages of life together—alumnae helping collegians, who in turn become those helpful alumnae passing the torch of sisterhood. Volunteering with NOAC creates these intergenerational friendships that empower us to break free from age barriers, preconceived notions, and societal expectations. It provides a platform for wisdom to be shared, stories to be exchanged, and perspectives to be broadened.

FOUNDERS DAY Co-CHAIR

Rachel Helmke, Gamma Zeta-Louisiana State

AUXILIARY OFFICER

Megan Layman, Epsilon Phi-Loyola

I enjoy attending chapter events with other alumnae and collegians, having fun, making new friends, and providing Service for Sight around New Orleans. It’s so much fun being part of the Anchored Pages book club. Yes, we discuss the book at our meetings, but those evenings also turn out to be such a great way to get to know the other amazing ladies in the group! I’m loving getting to know them more each month when we gather! The best part of being an active alumna is spending time with old and new friends who share a passion for doing good.

AUXILIARY OFFICER

Courtney Lane, Gamma Zeta-Louisiana State

Courtney has served both NOAC and EPhi chapters in various capacities. At this year’s Founders Day celebration, she was awarded a DG Cable Award for over 10 years of dedication and loyalty to our sisterhood. Somehow she finds time to continue volunteering and sharing her DG wisdom in the midst of raising four children. NOAC is very appreciative of Courtney’s time and talents!

PAST PRESIDENT 2016-2020
