PRESIDENT

Liz Ferguson (Alpha Psi-Mississippi)

"I am excited about the successes of our chapter to rebuild and renew! In 2023-2024 we will continue to reach out to more alumna to encourage their participation through a variety of new events and ways to contribute, I hope more members will take the leap of faith to get involved and support our efforts. Our collegiate chapters and local philanthropies need our support, so it is important for us to remember our Oath we took at Initiation and do what we can to Do Good!"

VP: FINANCE AND PANHELLENIC DELEGATE

Angie Sweeney (Gamma Zeta-Louisiana State)

"I enjoy being an officer as it has allowed me to meet and get to know women of all ages. I enjoy serving Delta Gamma as she has given me a la community, support, opportunities, friendships and love. I am excited to also share my love for DG with my daughter who is now an alumna. I enjoy sharing my journey with her and others and truly believe we are showing that this is a life long membership."

VP: FOUNDATION

Nancy Giacone (Gamma Zeta-Louisiana State)

"Having served as VP: Foundation in college, I was hoping to find volunteer opportunities to serve my community, specifically with the visually impaired. When the vp: foundation role became open in our alumnae group, I was excited to take the job! Finding volunteer opportunities to share with the ladies in our group has been super fun for me! The year ahead will offer opportunities to work with Louisiana Lighthouse, Southern Eye Bank, WRBH- Reading Radio for the Blind and Print Impaired, and other local organizations."

FUNDRAISING CHAIR

Christie Poindexter (Eta Eta-Spring Hill)

"I enjoyed being director of public relations and president of my chapter as a collegian. So when I was given the chance to have a leadership role in the NOAC … I took it! I’ve loved watching myself grow immensely from being in this position and even more so, I’ve loved seeing all my hard work pay off with how much we’ve been able to donate to Service for Sight. Going in, I knew I wouldn’t know anyone in the alumnae group… and the career field I entered after graduating college made me a bit of a recluse, which made joining NOAC an even more [mentally] difficult thing for me to do. Needless to say, I’m still here! While I’m still a work in progress, I love knowing that I have an outpouring of support from all of the ladies in the alumnae chapter and it makes me love them even more for it."

DO GOOD CHAIR

Kayla Sweeney (Gamma Zeta-Louisiana State)

"I am volunteering to serve in a leadership position because I loved being a director during my collegiate years. There is so much joy in giving back to the organization that has made me into the woman I am today. I cannot wait to serve my Delta Gamma sisters and the New Orleans community!"

VP: MEMBERSHIP and RITUALS CHAIR

Christina DiMaggio (Epsilon Phi-Loyola)

"I want to serve in a leadership position for a couple of reasons, all centering around community. Serving is a great way to really connect with a fantastic group of women. At the smaller planning meetings, we laugh a lot and really get to know each other. Serving in a leadership position is also a way for me to Do Good by supporting the growth and connectedness of the whole NOAC alumnae chapter."

NEW MEMBERS CHAIR

Elise Johnson (Epsilon Omega-Louisiana Tech)

"I am volunteering for leadership to get more involved in Delta Gamma. I have not been with the fraternity since I left LA Tech. I now have more time as my kids are in teenagers. I have not been able to attend a meeting yet as I am brand new, and hope to help in every way possible!"

VP: COMMUNICATIONS

Maddy Brocato (Alpha Psi-Mississippi)

"Delta Gamma has provided me with incomparable experiences, relationships, and opportunities for growth since the day I received my bid. I owe much of who I am today to the people I've met through Delta Gamma. Continuing that growth and giving back to the organization that gave me so much was a no-brainer! I want to stay inspired by hardworking DG sisters and to continue being a part of something. I'm so happy to be here!"

MEDIA CHAIR

Julia Stewart (Epsilon Gamma-Virginia)

"I’m relatively new to New Orleans, I moved here from 'the DMV' (the Washington, D.C. area). One of the first things I did to start making connections was to join the Delta Gamma alumnae chapter. I knew we already had something very special in common: this wonderful sisterhood experience. I am now volunteering to help with communications, so I can put my professional communications skills to work helping to bring my chapter’s members together."

COLLUMNAE CHAIR

Melissa Aucoin (Epsilon Phi-Loyola)

"Delta Gamma played such a special part in my collegiate career. I feel that without it I would not be the person I am today. I am excited to work with the collegians from my Epsilon Phi chapter. I want to give back to something that gave me so much. This is why I am volunteering with NOAC."

AWARDS CHAIR and FOUNDERS DAY CHAIR

Mackenzie Creamer (Alpha Psi-Mississippi)

"I loved my time as a Delta Gamma at Ole Miss! I met lifelong friends while also doing philanthropic work for Service for Sight. After moving to New Orleans post-residency, I went to the fall meeting because I wanted to meet more people in the city. I was nervous as I walked up to the door, but when I walked inside everyone was so welcoming and my nerves subsided. I am so thankful that I was brave and went to this event! I have new friends that I would never have had if I wouldn’t have taken this first step! I am excited to continue my Delta Gamma involvement with the New Orleans Alumnae Chapter as the Founders Day Chair and Awards Chair again this year!"

AUXILIARY OFFICER

Megan Layman (Epsilon Phi-Loyola)

"I enjoy attending chapter events with other alumnae and collegians, having fun, making new friends, and providing Service for Sight around New Orleans. It’s so much fun being part of the Anchored Pages book club. Yes, we discuss the book at our meetings, but those evenings also turn out to be such a great way to get to know the other amazing ladies in the group! I’m loving getting to know them more each month when we gather! The best part of being an active alumna is spending time with old and new friends who share a passion for doing good."

AUXILIARY OFFICER

Courtney Lane (Gamma Zeta-Louisiana State)

Gamma Zeta-Louisiana State: Courtney has served both NOAC and EPhi chapters in various capacities. At this year’s Founders Day celebration, she was awarded a DG Cable Award for over 10 years of dedication and loyalty to our sisterhood. Somehow she finds time to continue volunteering and sharing her DG wisdom in the midst of raising four children. NOAC is very appreciative of Courtney’s time and talents!

AUXILIARY OFFICER

Kay deMange Allen (Alpha Psi-Mississippi)

AUXILIARY OFFICER & SIG LEADER: LADIES LUNCHEONS

Alma Dunlap (Gamma Zeta-Louisiana State)

Alma Dunlap is not only a Gamma Zeta Queen, but also a NOAC Celebrity! She has received both the Loyalty and Cable Awards for her numerous years as a devoted Gamma Zeta adviser and loyal NOAC officer. Alma enjoys hosting our Special Interest Group "Ladies Lunch Bunch", and she is always thoughtful to select locations to be enjoyed by members of all ages. No one ever leaves without making a new friend and learning something new about DG!
